At the Barrie Literacy Council, we value volunteerism as the heart of our organization. We believe that volunteers play a crucial role in delivering our services effectively.
Information Sessions and Tutor Training
Our Information Sessions are designed to answer these questions and introduce you to the various volunteer opportunities available, including:
- Tutors: Work one-on-one with a student to help improve their literacy skills.
- Board and Committee Members: Help guide and manage the organization’s operations.
If you’re interested in becoming a tutor, training sessions will follow shortly after the Information Session.
